Eclipse Microneedling with PRP

How does it work?

A topical gel is applied to clean skin. In most cases your practitioner will use a hyaluronic acid peptide gel. This is a soothing product that helps the MicroPen™ tip glide across your skin while simultaneously delivering Hyaluronic Acid (HA) – the building blocks for healthy new skin – deep into the skin.

Your practitioner will select the appropriate needle depth and number of passes to address your skin's specific needs. As the Eclipse MicroPen™ tip is applied to the skin hundreds of micro-channels or holes are created every second. These tiny micro-channels stimulate your skin's natural ability to heal itself.

This repair process begins almost immediately. Fibroblasts—the cells that synthesize new collagen—are active for up to 6 months after the initial treatment. New collagen and elastin produce softer, firmer skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, acne scars and textural issues.

Results

Typically the skin has a nice glow to it immediately following the treatment. Results can be observed as early as 30 days.

How Does PRP Work For Hair Restoration And Regeneration?

PRP can be used to stimulate and nourish follicles for hair growth. Highly concentrated plasma(portion of your blood without the red and white blood cells) contains platelets that release growth factors. These growth factors have been shown to generate new hair and improve the density and health of existing hair. PRP administration into the scalp is done via Micropen treatment and via subdermal injections. Clinical studies concluded that enhanced hair growth of transplanted hair was observed after use of PRP, which led to further research on the effect of PRP on non-transplanted hair follicles. The study hypothesized that platelet growth factors can “wake up” dormant hair follicles and begin the production of new hair. A study examined the effect of PRP injections alone without hair transplant surgery. The PRP was administered into the scalp without hair transplant forcing the induction factors at the injection site. Number of hair and individual hair thickness was measured after the treatment. Enhanced hair growth and increased hair diameter were noted over the next 4 months.
